The Piletec Culvert Pullers are designed to assist in the jointing of culverts of different sizes and in various locations.
The unit consists of a double acting ram unit, a 110 volt 32 amp Electro Hydraulic Power Pack, single and double leg certified Chains (pulling chains certified to 20t), pulling beam and specially fabricated foot plates to suit various designs of culvert profiles. Note: a generator is also required and available as a separate hire item from VP Hire Station.
This feature enhanced model can deliver a pulling force of up to 20 tonnes. Key features include protective pads on the beam connection and soffit support which minimise the risk of culvert damage during installation. This model also provides support clamps which hold the beam in place and is ‘fail to safe’.
