In this video I make a nice curly maple and walnut box to hold my shoe shine products.
To begin I resaw the curly maple down to multiple pieces for the box, lid and bottom panel. Next I cut the dovetails in the box parts using my Katz-Moses dovetail guide which I use often. Next I cut curves in the walnut pieces and finally a curve on the top panel to match. For the finish, I wiped on a few coats of Osmo Polyx
