Explaining current source and current sink using a comparator circuit as an example. Many ICs can source and sink current but, whilst the idea of a current source is well understood at this level, current sinks are often a bit of a mystery. This video looks at how to use a 741 op-amp as a comparator acting as a current source and then as a current sink. This video was an addition to one of the website lessons but has value as a stand alone video too.
