Custom Ansible Automation Platform Reporting Plugins

With an Ansible Automation Platform subscription, customers get access to Automation Analytics - a service similar to Red Hat Insights which provides various reports about usage of the platform. The setup is simple - provide your Red Hat account credentials in the Controller settings - but there is a blocker for some organizations. In order to take advantage of this service, your data must be sent back to Red Hat. If there is no policy restricting you from doing so, then I highly recommend connecting your instance and moving on to another post. On the other hand, if you are restricted from using the service, then this post provides a pattern for generating similar reports on your own data using the lookup plugin construct in Ansible.
