Custom Cornhole Set (Previous Project)
This was a father's day present I (Born & raised in San Diego) made for my dad (Who was raised in Whittier.) The top started off as a half sheet of oak plywood cut down to regulation size (I found this online.) The sides and legs are made up of 2x4s which give the boards plenty of weight and make it so they don't move when the bags land on them. The two boards can be hooked together with the attached latches (The scoreboard and bags are stored inside.) We used hand cut stencils and spray paint for the logos and gave everything multiple coats of polyurethane. The bags were all sewn from "duck" material purchased at our local fabric supply. We chose to fill them with dry beans rather than corn so they would hold up better over time. The scoreboard was made with scraps of PVC, loose-leaf rings and printed numbers that were then laminated. Feel free to ask any questions in the comments below. Thanks for watching!
