🚗 I’ve spent the last 2 months building an MVP for an open-source RC car configurator – BetaRide. In this video, I’ll show you how it works, how to connect motors, servos, and a controller, and how you can start using it for your own builds. The idea is simple: make RC cars as flexible and configurable as FPV drones. No more expensive modules for basic features. Just upload the firmware to an ESP32, connect it via USB, and use the configurator to set up your project. 💡 This project is in early development and needs your feedback! I can’t test all hardware, so your ideas, bug reports, and feature requests are super important. 🔗 Links: Configurator: https://www.dcsets.com/beta-ride GitHub repo: https://github.com/DCSets/betaride Discord community: https://discord.gg/wapS8Huuff 🙌 Want to be part of community? - Try the software and share your experience - Give feedback & propose new features - Report bugs or unexpected behavior - Ask questions & join the community - Share this video with friends who love RC or robotics - Let’s build the future of RC cars together. 🚀 #betaride #beta-ride #rccar #rccarconfigurator #rccarsoftware #rccarproject #rccardiy #rccarbuild #opensource #opensourcerc #esp32 #esp32rccar #arduinorccar #betaflightforcars #fpvrccar #rcelectronics #rccustomization #rchobby #customrccar #diyrobotics #rccarupgrade #rccarcontroller #elrs #elrsrccar #brushlessrccar #rccarfirmware
