A custom block needs an Element and Activity to be fully intelligent. Elements sets are a time-saving feature that provides predefined combinations of compatible elements and activities. A Visibility set creates different states that show or hide block entities. The number of states and the entities displayed in each are user-defined. Selecting the custom block within the drawing lets us choose the preferred visibility state independent of the drawing layer settings.
