cutting flagstone using the 9 inch evolution saw
Here's my best stone work of 2025: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/NfF0V656O3M Saw I used: https://amzn.to/3KS8HwO Hammer: https://amzn.to/4aJB8Yg The angle grinder is good enough to finish an entire flagstone patio with, I've done so many times. But it doesn't cut very deep, and it tales longer than the big saw. The 14" gas powered saw is faster and cuts deep, but it's heavy, loud, makes a big cloud of dust, and needs to be pull started. I recently found a happy middle ground, with the 9 inch electric saw by evolution. Cuts a bit slower than the saw, but faster than the grinder. Costs just a bit more than a grinder. The job I an working on is not even "my" job: rather, a home owner paid me for a phone consultation. Having gotten part way into the job, they paid my day rate to have me give a hands-on class, in person. Hence I am here on site, instructing on how to cut and fit flagstone. https://www.devineescapes.com/diy-fla... Will publish more videos and shorts, from this jobsite, over the next week or two. Thank you
