Cyber Authentication – Secure Multi-Factor Authentication for Robust Protection in Cybersecurity App

The rapid adoption of cloud computing has increased exposure to cybersecurity threats, particularly unauthorized access caused by weak credentials, automated bot attacks, and abnormal user behavior. Conventional Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) systems provide additional security layers but often lack adaptive behavioral monitoring, captcha enforcement, and personalized anomaly verification mechanisms. These limitations reduce their effectiveness in identifying sophisticated unauthorized access attempts and real-time account compromise scenarios. This project introduces the Behavioural Anomaly Multi-Layer Verification System (BAMVS), developed as a full-stack web application using Python and the Django framework in accordance with IEEE academic standards. The framework integrates multi-layer authentication techniques with behavioral anomaly analysis to strengthen cloud access security. BAMVS incorporates captcha verification during registration and login processes to prevent automated bot activity. The system further employs push notification-based mobile confirmation and continuously monitors behavioral attributes such as login timing and IP address patterns. When suspicious deviations are detected, BAMVS dynamically triggers customizable security questions for additional verification. The framework processes authentication through sequential validation layers while maintaining behavioral profiles for enhanced risk assessment and access control. The web-based platform includes administrative dashboards for user management, security monitoring, anomaly tracking, and system evaluation. Designed strictly for academic and research purposes, this project demonstrates applied cybersecurity analytics, adaptive authentication mechanisms, and full-stack web deployment for intelligent cloud access protection systems.
