CYC Photon 2 E-Bike Conversion Kit!

We’re back in the workshop testing out another motor and battery combo — this time the CYC Photon 2. This system is a bit more in line with what many of our riders are looking for: a clean, pedal-assist setup that fits neatly into your existing Stanton frame. The Photon 2 runs at the standard road-legal power limit for pedal assist but can also be used with a thumb or twist throttle if you want a bit more punch off-road. In this video, Dan puts together the kit to show just how straightforward the installation is — no complicated wiring, no frame mods, just bolt-on simplicity. We take it out for a quick spin round the block to test top speed and responsiveness before the real comparison ride in the next episode, where Dan and Joe will pit this Photon 2 build against the CYC X1 Pro Gen 4. We’re also in final talks with CYC about becoming an official distributor — focusing on the Photon 2 system as the perfect way to electrify your Stanton.
