I am so terribly sorry for the slow pace this contest has been going at, but I didn’t want to just let it slip through my hands completely since I feel like most of you actually enjoy editing for a competition again. A Drop of Ink – everyone will have to pick one quote that they have to, in some way, represent in their video. The quote itself can be interpreted in any way you see fit, however, you need to SPECIFY your interpretation and the way you included the quote in your editing IN THE DESCRIPTION to have a chance of passing this round! The quotes can essentially be represented in many ways, simple typography, less literal and in a more thematic/story sense, or by including scenes that depict your given word and as always a mix of everything, naturally. Of course, the more creative the better, since you will be judged on how well you implement the quote in your editing/video. Impress us with your imagination and talent! I know how difficult and exasperating editing according to rules can be, so I decided to keep the quotes up to your own choosing, meaning you will not get assigned to one but have the freedom to choose ONE quote that suits you best. No mixing allowed though, so you can’t take one half of the first and the second half of the third quote. For this round ANY effects and music are allowed, however please focus on game editing only, if for some reason you need to include live-action stock footage or similar things, please keep it to a minimum and focus more on game footage.
