*dada* - "Dim" Guitar Cover

Dada (stylized dada) is a three piece rock band from California (United States). The band is made up of Michael Gurley (guitar/co-lead vocals), Joie Calio (bass/co-lead vocals) and Phil Leavitt (drums). The band's songs feature both Michael and Joie sharing the vocals on each song. The group write highly melodic, harmony laden tunes. Puzzle is their debut album, released in 1992, on I.R.S. Records. The album featured the hit single "Dizz Knee Land" and sold more than half a million copies. It spent 10 weeks on the Billboard 200 chart, peaking at number 111. My friend Ali introduced me to this fine band back in the 90's, when we were in a band together. At one point this featured in our live set. This is just my quick take on the song - it is a great song - solo is not 100% perfect and my Greco SE800J, Stratocaster is certainly more overdriven than the original, but I think it's a passable version. It is rocking, that's for sure! The guitar part in the verse is great and starts with a inversion of a G chord. B on the 7th fret of the low E and the G on the 5th fret of the D string.
