Daedric - Opulence (Official Visualizer)

The original demo for this sounded close to "All-Consuming", kind of slow and dark while building towards these big moments. So in true Daedric fashion, we completely disregarded that and arranged it for piano and vocal. After Geoff and Clay got done with the piano arrangement, we had to hire a real piano player who could actually perform it. Right away the organic feel of the live piano hit us all over the head. There’s something about it that you just can’t get with a VST. It was really ambitious for us to even attempt something like this so far out of our comfort zone but we did it, and it turned out to be a great way to close the album.
