Installing an O'Mara Sprung Floor with the O'Mara Crew
This sprung floor installation is in a dance studio in Southwest Michigan. The floor is a full room sprung studio dance floor made with our Raw Birch sprung floor panels. This sprung subfloor is designed to be finished with a roll-out vinyl dance surface.
The floor arrives onsite pre-sized to fit the space, with every floor panel labeled and comprehensive installation instructions. All specialty installation tools are included. This process is designed to be simple. Most of our customers install their own floors. Often with the assistance of dance studio parents. The ones who prefer not to do it themselves simply hire their preferred contractor.
The same installation method applies to our finished Ash and Maple sprung floor panels which come pre-finished and ready to dance on, so no additional surface is needed.
This Sprung Floor has a tested 70% shock absorption rating which is highest in the industry. Our floors have been supporting dancers and workers for over 30 years.
