Having fun with the Roland spd-sx The kick got half buried in the synth parts but it's enough to keep the groove the rest of the drums play in and around it to add colour rather then solid beat. The spd-sx has 9 pads plus I have a kick pad and 1 extra side pad 11 all together all with different sounds up to 2 sounds per pad 2 effects per pad and various combinations of effects on each pad. it gets a little crazy but fun. There are things you can do with electronic drum pads you can' do with acoustic drums and vise versa do what you want with it have fun and experiment with sound. The korg volcakeys and the arturia microfreak add the atmosphere to the piece after being run through the zoom ms70cdr+ effects pedal.
