Dark Theme & User Preferences | Notepad App w/ Python & Qt (2022) | EP6

In this episode of the Notepad App w/ Python & Qt series, I implemented the user preferences feature with the dark theme option. The user perferences will be stored and retrieved inside a data file using Python. The user will be able to toggle dark mode and adjust the display font size of the text area. This episode demonstrated conditional styling of QML elements. It also utilized the component instantiation, file read/write, and Python-Qt communication concepts introduced in the earlier episodes. This series is created as an example of building a GUI application using Python, as well as building a desktop application which will work on Linux and Windows.
