In this 3 part series I will cover off pointers to what you need to learn or gain more skills in, to become a data analyst. In part 1, I talk about how you should be comfortable with numbers, and also that you are comfortable working with spreadsheets. Then I talk about how to start in Excel, I don't go through practical examples as I will do so in a separate video, but this is really to give you pointers on what to learn and help you do your own research. The Excel skills I would suggest you learn are; - calculate descriptive statistics (e.g. sum, mean, max, min, etc.) - vlookup (and you should look at hlookup) - pivot tables - learn IF statements - learn how to import a CSV into Excel Look out fot part 2 and 3. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please subscribe to my channel.
