Data Enrichment using Vlookup function in Microsoft Excel

This dataset has over 5000 records and we needed to add a new column for the Geopolitical zones. In Nigeria, we have 6-Geopolitical : 1. North West 2. North East 3. North Central 4. South West 5. South East 6. South South. So, we used the VLOOKUP function to automatically fill in the Geopolitical zones using the state reference.
