Davinci Resolve VFX Tutorial - Make an Asteroid Field

In this Davinci Resolve VFX Tutorial, I show how to make a scene flying through an asteroid field. This special effects scene is created completely in the Davinci Resolve Fusion Page. Creating VFX in Davinci Resolve is one of my favorite types of projects to work on. There are some nodes and techniques used that really make this scene pop. The great thing about this asteroid field, is I only use one 3D asteroid. I show how to import a 3D model that was made in Blender. The FBX file and the Textures are all loaded on the model automatically in Resolve so the model looks the model looks the same there as it did in Blender. The remaining 3D asteroids are duplicates, allowing the special effects to render very quickly. Lighting is used in the scene to create depth and add a mysterious element to the space scene. I add layers of space fog that allow rays of right to give the VFX something unusual, but very visually stunning.
