Daniel 8: The Ram and the GoatVision: A ram (Medo-Persia) is defeated by a goat (Greece).The Defiler: A small horn, often interpreted as Antiochus Epiphanes, rises from the Greek empire to desecrate the temple, foreshadowing future anti-God rulers. Daniel 9: Daniel's Prayer and the 70 WeeksConfession: Daniel prays for Jerusalem, confessing Israel’s sins and pleading for mercy, prompting the angel Gabriel to deliver a message.70 Weeks Prophecy: A prophecy outlining "70 weeks" (interpreted as weeks of years, or 490 years) to finish transgression and bring in everlasting righteousness. This foretells the coming of the Messiah and the ultimate victory over evil. Verse of the day: Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.
