Day 65 | Terraform Hands-On: Creating a Storage Account, Virtual Machine & Modularizing Code #IaC

In the previous video, we faced issues with Azure SKUs for the virtual machine, but today, we resolved that and successfully created a Linux Virtual Machine, Storage Account, and other associated resources on Azure. Today’s focus: _______________________________ We successfully created a Storage Account using Terraform. I introduced the concept of modularizing Terraform code into separate files. Instead of having everything in one file, we broke it down into: main.tf – for the core infrastructure. provider.tf – for defining the provider. variables.tf – for declaring variables. terraform.tfvars – for assigning values to variables. outputs.tf – to output the created resources. We also covered: How Terraform can be used to manage infrastructure as code (IaC). The Terraform apply process and the power of automation in managing resources. Clean-up and Terraform destroy for decommissioning infrastructure.
