The Woods thin just enough to see the sky, or rather i should be able to see it. The mist that has hung over this place persists, hanging low, pale, and still. It gathers at the edges, where the trees begin again. From somewhere within them, I hear it—faint at first. A whisper. Then another. I cannot make out the voices , merely fragments, carried between the trunks as they try to invite me in... or warn me away?
