This is probably the largest deadlock update so far. Update came out last week (Tuesday 8/19/25) but I went to NY that week so last night I ran 2 games, then today I had more time and ran a lot of games. Only got to play Billy, wish I could have played the other new ones (Mina & Doorman), but understandably they're in high demand.
A ton has changed but to go through a few big ones: new heros (6, current being released every 2 days), map changes (night, few new layout areas, more details, etc), hideout (replaced the previous menu screen). So far I'm liking the changes!
This is my first and only game so far of playing Billy and I somehow went 14 and 1 with the most souls and kills. Def needs some nerfs IMO, but was def having fun (especially my 3 v 1 at 19:30).
Deadlock is still in closed alpha but with a huge update like this hopefully its pretty close to releasing soon! Or maybe a full release will ruin it idk.
