Today is an exciting day on Just a Different Life! Dean eagerly awaits the delivery of a special parcel - his brand-new bike! While waiting, the kids stay busy with a variety of life skills projects: sorting recyclable beverage containers, composting for the garden, planting stunning hanging baskets, expanding our hydroponics system, and packaging fishing worms for sale.
When the bike finally arrives, Dad races against the clock to assemble it so Dean can ride it to vote in his first-ever federal election. Will they make it in time? Spoiler: they do! The day wraps up with our 7 kids heading out for a fun and energetic softball practice with Special Olympics.
