Dear Mom,

I have been trying to find the right words to tell you how much you mean to me, but I honestly don’t think words could ever fully explain it. No matter how much I say thank you, it will never feel like enough for everything you have done for me throughout my life. You sacrificed so much just to give me opportunities and a life that I know wasn’t easy to provide. You carried responsibilities that no one should have had to carry alone, yet you still gave me unconditional love every single day. No matter how hard things got, you always made sure I felt safe, supported, cared for, and loved. I don’t think I’ll ever truly understand the amount of strength it took for you to do everything you did by yourself. You have never just been my mom. You’ve been my best friend, my biggest supporter, my comfort, my protector, and both a mom and a dad to me. Every important moment in my life has been possible because of you. Every lesson I’ve learned, every value I have, every accomplishment I’m proud of all traces back to your love, sacrifices, and guidance. There were probably so many moments where you were exhausted, stressed, overwhelmed, or scared, but you still kept going for me. You always put me first, even when it meant sacrificing things for yourself. That kind of love is something I could never repay, and I hope you know that I will spend the rest of my life appreciating everything you’ve done for me. I admire you more than anyone in this world. The older I get, the more I realize just how much you protected me from and how much you quietly carried on your shoulders without ever asking for recognition. You made impossible things happen for me, and you did it with love. Thank you for believing in me even during moments when I didn’t believe in myself. Thank you for always picking me up when life got hard. Thank you for every late night, every sacrifice, every hug, every conversation, every piece of advice, and every time you reminded me that I was loved. I truly could not have done any of this without you. You are the reason I am who I am today, and I hope one day I can make you as proud as you’ve always made me feel to have you as my mom.
