Defrag/Trim & Optimize SSD in Windows 11/10 Using CMD — (No Software Needed)
Unlike HDDs, SSDs need TRIM to clear deleted data blocks so they can write new data at full speed. Without it, your SSD slows down over time. Windows should run TRIM automatically, but sometimes it doesn't — here's how to force it manually.
▶ Benchmark SSD performance:
winsat disk -drive c
▶ Run TRIM / Optimize SSD via CMD (Admin):
defrag /O C:
