Arabic Pasta:
1 lb Pasta (any shape is fine)
Saucy Meat:
3 Garlic Cloves, minced
1 Onion, diced
1 Tbsp Oil
1 - 2 lbs Ground Beef
6 oz Tomato Paste
Water, as needed (approx. 1/4 - 1/2 cup)
1 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
1 1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Allspice
1/4 tsp Nutmeg
Creamy Sauce:
1 1/2 Cups Greek Yogurt, plain
2 Tbsp Tahini
2 Garlic Cloves, minced
1/4 tsp Cumin
1/4 tsp Salt
Pinch of Back Pepper
Juice of 1/2 Lemon
Fresh Salad:
1/2 Bunch of Parsley
Handful of Mint Leaves, optional
1 tsp Olive Oil
Juice of 1/2 Lemon
1 Cup Cherry Tomatoes
Sprinkling of Salt
Cook pasta noodles according to package directions.
Meanwhile, sauté garlic and onion in oil until translucent.
Add ground beef and cook until browned.
Add tomato paste and water as needed until meat is saucy.
Stir in seasonings.
In a separate bowl, combine Greek yogurt, tahini, garlic cloves, cumin, salt, black pepper and lemon juice.
Mince parsley and mint leaves fine (a food processor works well for this).
Mix in olive oil and lemon juice.
Cut cherry tomatoes in half and sprinkle with salt.
Fill plate with pasta, top with saucy meat, creamy sauce, parsley salad and tomatoes.
