It’s officially deload week as we prepare to head to the Eastern Cape for a surprise birthday celebration for our mom. This vlog documents 4 out of the 5 days of the deload phase — 2 push sessions, a pull session, and an active recovery day in between. Mentally it was tough holding back when strength and momentum are feeling this good, but understanding when to push and when to recover is what separates progress from burnout. Even with reduced volume and intensity, the physique is still tightening up, recovery is improving, and performance feels ready to explode heading into the next phase.
