DEMETRA BACHES

DEMETRA is a free software application developed by Shelyak.com and available at shelyak.com/software/demetra (take the eShel module). This is a quick video-description of how to use DEMETRA with spectra taken with BACHES spectrograph from Baader-Planetarium.com. BACHES is similar to Shelyak eShel spectrograph, order numbers are the same in both instruments; only the central wavelengths are a bit shifted and this requires some changes in input parameters in "Calibration detection/Primary/Secondary". Other differences in BACHES are in "Order detection/Select reference order" under "Detection parameters/Lines threshold" which changes from 30 to 10, and in "Detection parameters/Height" that requires to be increased to 18.
