Democratizing Data With A Logical Data Fabric, Powered By Data Virtualization

Presented at Big Data LDN 2022 Speaker: Mark Pritchard, Denodo In this session we will look at how Data Virtualization can form the backbone of a Logical Data Fabric Architecture and see how this democratizes data through a live demonstration. The demo will show how this logical approach abstracts consumers from the location of the data and its associated storage technology, enables creation of a business semantic layer on top of an organisation's distributed data landscape and facilitates self-service discovery and governed access to the data via this semantic layer.
