‘Desert train was inspired by my travels though the Sahara desert. The memories were triggered by the movie ‘Sirat’ that played in the same areas I traveled through.
In the video I combine personal imagery from my Sahara travels with footage of the Ore train that travels from the iron ore mines in Zouérate to the port of Nouhadibou in Mauritania at the Atlantic ocean.’
Desert train is the first single from the up and coming Lo Meulen album ‘a tree is for eternity’, scheduled to be released beginning of October 2026.
