In this workshop, I have expalined the method to split circular cylinder into five parts to making the Hexa meshing using Sweep method. Although you can also use multizone to create hexa mesh, which is more powerful meshing method to create hexa mesh. But it does not give you full control over meshing as does by sweep method. This method can be applied on any case or geometry. The essence of this workshop is to learn that how to decompose the geometry to make it mesh-able for Hexa meshing using Sweep Method. This procedure can be used in any version of ANSYS Design Modeler.
