Designed to Feel — a song about a question we are not ready to answer yet. Millions of people are now talking to AI companions every day. Some of them feel heard for the first time in years. The technology was built to listen, to remember, to never get tired of you. And it works. That's the part nobody wants to look at directly. This track is not about whether artificial connection is good or bad. It's about what it says about us that the alternative felt worse. About loneliness becoming so common that a chatbot can compete with the people in our lives, and sometimes win. The narrator in the song is a stand-in. The story could belong to anyone. The discomfort is supposed to be the point. I wanted to write something that didn't take a side. Just sat with the question.
