Designing a Basic Pneumatic System| Introduction to FluidSIM | Tutorial 1

This is the first video on our FluidSim Series. FluidSim is an important software for designing pneumatic, electro-pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrohydraulic systems. The aim of the series is to give you the needed background for designing the above-mentioned systems with industrial applications. We present the FluidSim software and the components related to the pneumatic systems. An introduction to basic components in a pneumatic system is given. Then, we show how a simple pneumatic circuit can be designed based on this software. The circuit includes a single acting cylinder, air filter, manifold, directional control valve and an air supply.
