Determining Water Hardness by Complexometric Titration

In this video I demonstrate how a complexometric titration with EDTA can be used to determine total water hardness. A further process can be done to separately test magnesium and calcium water hardness, but it would have made the video excessively long so I didn't bother. Also, keep in mind the procedure shown in this video does not adhere to SOP for a determination like this, and I actively manipulate far more variables than you ever would in an analytical lab.
