Devotional: Romans 4:9-10

What if your relationship with God didn’t start with you getting it right, but with Him reaching for you? In Romans 4:9–10, Paul highlights a powerful truth through Abraham’s story. God declared Abraham righteous before any outward sign of obedience, before circumcision, before he could prove anything. God moved first. In this message, we explore how easy it is to believe that we need to clean ourselves up before coming to God. To think we need to understand more, do more, or fix more before He would accept us.
