DF1- Differential 1-forms and line integrals

In this series of videos, DF, we explore what differential forms are and how they can be used to reframe multivariable calculus results in a language different from vector fields. We explore some of the benefits of this new language. This first video introduces 1-forms and 1-fields and shows how the 1-forms are related to the differentials we encountered when studying tangent plane approximations and differentials. We then define line integrals of 1-fields and relate that to the line integrals of vector fields we studied earlier.
