LYRICS Dharma Rain The Dharma rain falls everywhere With a single flavor of liberation Moist’ning every living being And each one does grow. The Dharma cloud rises high The sound of thunder rings afar The cloud lowers and expands You can almost touch it with your hands. In the deep mountain where it rains On the grapevine and the sugar cane Each according to its kind Gets a chance to grow and shine. The Buddha manifests in the world Like that great cloud filled with rain. For the sake of living beings He speaks of the reality of all things. “I moisten all you dried out beings So you can leave suffering, Gain peace and tranquility. You should all come listen to me.” The Dharma rain falls everywhere With a single flavor of liberation Moistening every living being And each one does grow.
