Did Dive 87 Doom the Titan?
If the Titan story fascinates you, consider getting my book. The Discovery and Netflix films were "docu-dramas" that beat on Stockton but left out all the details about the second hull and why it was destined to fail. My book fills in all the blanks for you. https://titandives.com/ ***I realize this is a niche category in Amazon Books: Ecosystems. However, I am pleased to announce that my book about Titan has reached #1 Best Seller status in that category. https://titandives.com/ In this video, I tell a detailed story about the OceanGate Titan Dive 87 and the trauma experienced by the Titan. It is based on testimony by Dan and Courtney Kroymann, mission specialists on dive 87. The Titan took a beating, and Stockton was unconcerned. I now believe the incident on dive 87 contributed to the implosion on the next dive, dive 88. Mrs. Kroymann had a degree in oceanography, in which she studied deep ocean sediments. She did not really care about the Titanic; she just wanted to get to the ocean bottom, which is why they were okay with diving on the continental shelf.
