Did you Bring The Map

This weekend we loaded up the bikes and headed out for a camping trip at Camp Creek State Park, ready to hit the trails and see what this place had to offer. What started as a chill MTB ride quickly turned into a bit of an adventure… and not exactly the kind we planned. Somewhere along the way, we realized we were definitely on the wrong trail. No map, no signal, and just going off memory (which clearly wasn’t working). After a little bit of backtracking and guessing, we finally ran into a park ranger who pointed us in the right direction and got us back on track. Even with the detour, the ride was full of fun sections, great scenery, and a few laughs at our own expense. Just goes to show—sometimes the best parts of the ride are the unexpected ones.
