This video is in support of my Proposition P.38/2025 which - if passed - would allow Jersey's ministers to be paid more than backbenchers. Currently, Jersey is one of the few jurisdictions in the world where the Chief Minister is paid the same as a backbencher, and this "equality" is written into the law. My proposal would change the law to allow differential pay.
