This video lesson shows how we can develop non-dimensional forms of the incompressible Navier-Stokes equation for fluid flow. Using dimensionless variables, like the Reynolds number, the Prandtl number and the Froude number, we can express the governing equations in such a way that will enable us to extend a single solution to a large number of similar problems.
