This fly pattern is brother to Yeager's 409. We wanted a pattern that incorporated the foam, legs, and hi-visibility of the 409, but sat a little lower in the water.
This is a great pattern for our local small streams. It has enough flotation to support a dropper nymph, and the purple is an great color for our early spring/late winter fish!
