DISHWALLA - Give

Here’s another classic tune from Dishwalla’s first album (Pet Your Friends) that has become a signature song at most concerts. This was the third song in an extended concert set that the band played on a Sunny Sunday afternoon in Irvine California this September. You might notice at the beginning of this song there were no fans within 25 feet of the stage. Two brave girls decided to break the ice and in return received a memorable spotlight (caught on video) with JR. Moments later a fan from the crowd shouts “Can We All Come?” JR replies “Bring It On” ...and the once virgin soil in front of the stage is swamped with people leaving their comfortable lawn chairs and coolers (filled with the cold stuff) just to get up close and personal with the band. If you ask anyone that made it to Irvine that wonderful afternoon, the rest of the concert was just unforgettable. If you ever get a chance to see these musicians in action, don’t think twice, just do it – you will be very glad that you did. Shortly after the concert a new fan remarked, “These guys sound just like they do on the album... I have seen other bands just fail miserably when they step on stage. When you watch Dishwalla, it’s like putting the CD in your stereo and pushing play. They sound as good – or maybe even better Live than they do in the studio recording.
