I used a broken piece of chestnut wood to make this simple coat rack. I burnt the wood and wire brushed it to give it a nice texture, I used gold acrylic paint to fill in the grain before lacquering the coat rack. Making a coat rack is a great beginner project and its always useful to have an extra coat rack around the house!
