DIY Composite Tool: Flexible Sander

You can make some of your own composite fabrication tools. How about a sander that distributes the sanding more evenly than most flexible sanding blocks. In this video we will make a flexible sander that is useful for sanding curved surfaces. This sander is made of aluminum sheet that is 0.040" thick. If you work with sheet aluminum you may have some scraps laying that you can use to make your own flexible sander. Experiment with different lengths and thicknesses to see the sanders perform.
