Hey Guys! So after seeing the price of some regular drag sleds ($120+) I decided to make my own. Now I did buy everything brand new from the hardware store, so that's why its a little more expensive, but if you can find any of these things laying around the house or used, you will save a lot more money. I decided to go with pipe instead of wood because its more heavy duty, but the main reason is because it looks more professional and it's lighter than what a wood one would be. I ended up paying ~$50 for everything. Here is a list of things you'll need... P.s. Everything is for 1/2 pipe - 4 x 8" black pipes ($2.92 each, 11.68 total) - 3 tees ($1.97 each, 5.91 total) - 1 x 12" pipe ($3.87) - 2 x 5" pipe ($2.18 each, 4.36 total) - 2 x 2" pipe ($1.31 each, 2.62 total) - 2 caps ($1.34 each, 2.68) - 2 x 45 degree elbow ($1.88 each, 3.76 total) - 2 x 1/4" quick links ($2.48 each, 4.96 total) - 2 x 4" eye bolts ($.85 each, 1.70 total) - 1 x 5/16 quick link ($3.58) - 3 feet of chain ($1.60 per foot, 4.80 total) Grand Total: $51.70 + tax Make sure you clink the link to check out some great supplements!
