DIY Gummy Candy!

Hello everyone! Thank you so much for watching and please subscribe for more Too Tasty Thursdays every Thursday at 9am! Every Thursday there will be a super fun baking video! I also post Tuesday and Sunday! Recipe: You will need: -2 packages of jello -2/3 cup cold water - 2 packs of gelatine( if you want a thicker more condensed gummy, add 1 or 2 more packs) -Cute molds( the cuter the better really) Optional: -Citric acid ( makes it extra sour and tasty) - Extra jello OR cool-aid for flavour Suggestions: I would recommend adding cool-aid if you add extra gelatine packs.I personally do not like the taste of gelatine so if you add more packages of gelatine make sure to balance it out with some yummy extra flavouring! If you want the melting to hurry up, turn it up to 2 or 3 on the stove top! Make sure to constantly mix it so it doesn't burn! You can leave these yummy gummies in an air tight container at room temperature! They last about 1 week but mine defiantly didn't last that long since I ate them all so much faster! Instructions: 1. Gather all ingredients 2. Pour 2/3 cups of water into a cup 3. Stir in gelatine first and make sure it is completely mixed into the water. The water will thicken and that is how you will know that it is mixed in. 4. Add the jello packages and mix those in! Make sure to completely mix it in just like the gelatine! 5. * OPTIONAL* Let the mixture sit for 5-10 minutes to thicken more 6. Turn on the stove top on low 7. Grab a pot and place the mixture into the pot( on the stove top of course)! Don't mind my oldish pan ;) 8. Do not burn the mixture! Constantly stirring the mixture is the way to go. If you are too nervous and worried that the mixture will burn, use a double boiler! 9. Once the mixture is a thin syrup( hard to notice in the video) place the mixture into a cup or something easy to pour! 10. Pour them into your molds! 11. You can let them sit outside OR speed up the process and place them in the fridge for 20minutes! 12. Completed!
