Here is my DIY version of the JESSEM Clear Cut Stock Guides. The commercial version provides 3 functions:
1. Provide downward force to prevent the stock from lifting up;
2. Provide sideways force to keep the stock tight against the fence for a cleaner cut; and
3. Prevent kickback via the one-way bearings - the stock cannot move backwards.
My DIY version do 1 and 2, but since my wheels only have normal bearings, it does not provide kickback protection. However, I still think it is a good addition to my table saw. And quite quick and easy to make from a few offcut pieces.
