DIY MACRAME OWL PLANT POD TUTORIAL - STEP BY STEP
Making this cute macrame owl, combined with a plant hanger/pod is something I have created before but have only now got round to doing!
The branch is a new detail that I was playing around with for this design in particular. I liked the idea of having a "branch" clutched in it's claws or having it look as though it is perched on a tree branch, so I started off just having loose cords hanging either side. This didn't really work and after trying different ways, I ended up developing this gathering knot branch with relaxed strands hanging off the ends. As this happened completely by chance, I will make a seperate tutorial on how to make you own macrame branch feature for your own beautiful designs.
